Calgary Centre

Calgary Centre is a federal electoral district that has been represented in the Canadian House of Commons since 1968. It covers 42 km2 in the city of Calgary, with a population of roughly 125,000 people. The riding has a relatively high average household income and education level, although the rate of home ownership is lower than the Canadian average.

The riding includes Calgary’s downtown core, the 17th Ave, Marda Loop and Chinook areas as well as Mt. Royal University.
